ABOUT ME.
Music is the language of emotions.
Introduction -
Let me start with the usual. My name is Sairaj Bhagat. I am from Bhubaneshwar, Odisha, India. I am currently doing my BCom. (H) from Sri Sathya Sai Institute Of Higher Learning, Brindavan campus. I did my schooling in Sri Sathya Sai Higher secondary school, Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, India.
I play guitar, piano and clarinet and compose and produce orchestral music, background scores, theme music, motivational and calming music.

My journey into music -
My musical journey started in my 6th grade with listening. I loved listening to music and that point of time that obsession to listen to it every chance I got began. In my 7th grade, our school opened up an opportunity to learn tabla and since I wanted any association with music, I gave my name. I became good enough at it to do a jugalbandi with another classmate of mine at the end of that year. We had a small pipe band and got selected for playing drums in that too. 8th grade opened a vast number of opportunities with respect to music. I started learning and playing guitar since the 8th grade. I learnt piano in my 11th grade to help with composing and producing my music. Those were also things I had started that time. During the course of those 5 years, I gave multiple performances across various genres like instrumentals, fusion, covers, acoustic, electric guitar solos and my own productions and compositions.

In my college, I had the opportunity to be selected in the college brass band and that was the first time I got acquainted with orchestral music. I played the clarinet in the band. Currently I compose and produce all kinds of music but specialize more in cinematic and orchestral music, background scoring, theme music, motivational or calming music.
Music to me -
When I started out, music did not have a definition. Like many, It was just an endearment for me. As I went deeper into the field, my experiments with music led me to develop my own perspective on music.
Music for me in a phrase is the expressions of emotion. Emotions in it's purest form. The best and most genuine music comes when we make it from the perspective of what we want to express and not having a perspective of making a hit song or capturing audience. In my opinion, those are met when the feeling is justified and expressed in the most genuine way.

Another aspect that defines music for me is creativity. Music is not just a tool of expression of emotions for me, but also a means to bring out my creativity. To try different and new ways to express the same thing. To express things differently.

Today, in my on going journey, I am striving to reach the depths of emotions in music. I am looking for the best way to express it. I have found that series and movies that tell stories help connect people with emotions at it's best and the music enhances their experience to a higher level. I am looking forward to working with such studios that and gaining experience and contributing in the background scoring for movies, series, documentaries, motivational speeches, calming experiences and such.
